Use instructions for Diera Flexivel

SUPPORT
The supports, wall or concrete floor should be more than 30 days
Rendering and mortar of cracked or straight back floor, should be more than  14 days
When the surfaces are old, is necessary to check the support stability, guarantee its cleaning, repair the holes, verify and correct big unevenness.

 PREPARATION
Prepare ADHESIVE PASTE DIERAFLEXIVEL, in tight recipient, clean, protected from the sunlight, wind and rain
Mix the 25 kg of the product with 24 to 26% of water, this means, 6 to 6,5 litres of water of 25kg bag. Use mechanical
agitator with low velocity.
After being mixed, the mortar should be pasty and firm, without dry lumps.
The mortar should be used in the following 50 minutes, during difficult  weather conditions this time can change.

·       A good choice of the darby is a guarantee of a good pasting , please, follow the instructions below:
·       For pieces with area over or equal to 2 400 cmand a thickness of  1,4 cm,  is necessary to use physical means of setting


APPLICATION
The ceramics should be dry and the darby cleaned
Apply a coat with  5 to 6 mm of thickness of mortar on the support, with the non toothed side of  the darby of steel
Use the darby?s toothed side with an angle of 60º from the base, on the new applied mortar
The mortar taken by the darby´s teeth should be remixed with the other one
Apply the ceramics on the mortar, press with vibrative movements and slightly knock with rubber hammer, without damage the surface of the ceramics
The mortar will have a minimum thickness of 4 mm after the ceramics setting
For ceramics over 900 cmof area, you must use double pasting, this means, apply the mortar on the support and on the back side of the ceramics during the application
Whenever you use ceramic pieces on places with great use, besides the area of the piece, make double pasting
If you apply ceramic pieces with saliences over 1 mm on back side, you should apply a small quantity of mortar, to fill in the spaces in low relief
Follow the dimensions of the gaskets indicated by the ceramic manufacturer
The joints of dilatation should be taken in consideration, follow the indications of the project technician
When the wear and tear of the darby´s teeth is over 1 mm of height, remake them or use a new one
Check regularly the formation of film on the mortar surface, and its adhesiveness.

CLEANING
Clean all the excess of mortar immediately after the setting of the ceramics, with a slightly wet sponge, with clean water
Follow the cleaning instructions indicated by the ceramic manufacturer, not forgetting the surfaces sensible to the attrition and/or absorbents
Never use acids on the cleaning of the mortar wastes

COMPOSITION
Cement CEM II/A-L 42,5 R, silicious sand, non toxic water retainer, cellulose fibres, synthetic additives, acrylic resins and humectants

STORAGE
Dry and ventilated place, on palette and in closed original packages, during six months starting from the date mentioned on the package.
