For a better world
In the months of November and December 2009, Diera, fulfilling its tradition of commitment to environmental preservation, sponsored the planting of 1,000 trees in Serra de Santa Justa, in the municipality of Valongo, under the Project Pronatura, in partnership with ANEFA - National Association of Forestry, Agricultural Companies and the Environment.
After 7 years of this remarkable initiative, we visited again the Serra de Santa Justa, to check the fruits of this action which meant, for us, not just a reflection of our dedication and commitment to environmental protection, but also a small but fundamental way to change the world.
Our trees grow slowly but with determination, containing in itself the promise of hope and dreams, much as our position in the market of sustainable growth, based on respect for people and the world that surrounds us, marked by the desire to go further, and do better.
This is our commitment, and these are the values that have enabled us to grow these past 50 years. It is also with the same strong will and commitment to spread the name of Portugal as a Portuguese company, and to contribute to the development and stability of the Portuguese economy, we go through the next 50 years: looking ahead with confidence and determination.
