Rehabilitation of the building of Language and Culture Department in Aveiro University
The Aveiro University (UA) is a public Foundation with private law created in 1973, assuming as an important partner of companies and other national and international entities, being a research space where products and innovative solutions are developed which contribute for the science and technology developments.
The work made in the building of Language and Culture Department, in 2016, was not merely the improvement of the infrastructure and interior and exterior accesses but also the aesthetic renovation of façades, and the improvement of energy performance, with the application of a Thermal Insulation Solution.
The Diera solutions were used in the thermal insulations stage, by exterior of the building, with the system Etics DIERATHERM.
SOLUTIONS USED
Adhesive cement, single component, of mixed bonding agents with a longer open and reduced slip, suitable for the adherence and covering in termal insulation with expanded polystyrene extruded and black agglomerate expanded cork on new surfaces.
Used in the DIERATHERM and DIERATHERM+ (ETICS) systems, certified by LNEC with the decision DH 932 and ETA 14/0363, and in the DIERACORK (ETICS) system.
Primer suitable to promote adhesion on critical surfaces, extending surface/coating durability cohesion and to increase the adhesion when an adhesive paste is applied or plastering mortar.
Used as a connecting bridge on cementitous surfaces, on surfaces with or without absorption, new or old surfaces, in interior or exterior.
Primer for the application on the coating of DIERATHERM (ETICS) System, to increase adhesion of the Thick Plastic Coating DIERA RV PLASCRYL to the surface.
Decorative Thick plastic coating, for coating and decoration of the DIERATHERM (ETICS) INSULATION SYSTEM, viroc and based cement plasters, in interior and exterior.
