This renovation project executed by architects Rui Jesus and Carolina Aurélio of the Office of Architecture VERUM (www.verum-atelier.pt ) had as objective the improvement of the levels of thermal and acoustic comfort, along with a visual upgrade to the interior decoration of the establishment.
For the interior walls, the adhesion promoter ADITEK P was applied in order to increase the adhesion on the supports, with the subsequent application of cork agglomerate plates by double bonding with high performance adhesive cement DIERA CL COMPOSTO.
Afterwards, CORKGARD FUV INTERIOR protector was applied to the cork plates in order to provide a durable coating with excellent properties of repellency to water, oil, stains and dirt of diverse nature, maintaining the natural characteristics of cork (touch, color, breathability).
SOLUTIONS USED
Protector for cork agglomerates that provides durable coatings with repellent properties to water, oil, stains and dirt of diverse nature, as well as high resistance to UV rays and aging.
It improves the dynamic resistance to water, maintaining the natural characteristics of cork, namely, touch, color, breathability.
Ecological product, without surfactants or chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), associated to the attack on the ozone layer.
Bicomponent adhesive cement with improved mixed binders, elongated open time and reduced slip (C2TE S1, according to NP EN 12004: 2008 + A1: 2012).
Suitable for bonding low porous ceramic and stony material (provided stable to moisture) on exterior and interior surfaces up to 60 x 60 cm or equivalent.
Primary designed to promote adhesion on critical substrates, extend the durability of the support / coating cohesion and increase adhesion when applying a construction glue or grout mortar.
Used like union bridge in cement bases, in supports with or without absorption, new or old surfaces, in the interior or exterior.
